Hindol Brahmbhatt was born in 1974, and he received his B.F.A. and Post Graduate Diploma from the Faculty of Fine Arts, M.S.U. Baroda. Hindol received a scholarship from the Kanoria Center for Arts, Ahmedabad (1998). He has had a solo show of his works in Ahmedabad and participated in groups shows in Ahmedabad, Baroda, Bhopal, Mumbai and Delhi. He has also received the Gujarat State Lalit Kala Akademi Award (1987, 1995 & 1996), Ahmedabad Municipal Corporation Award in 1995, Shamshaie Smruti Award, Gujarat State (1995). The artist lives and works in Ahmedabad.
