Joel Suganth J is a photographer and new media artist from Chennai, India. He is currently based in Taipei, Taiwan. As a New Media Artist Joel combines images and sound to create new experiences. Joel studied Painting at the Government College of Fine Arts in Chennai. Joel's work as a photographer has been published in newspapers and magazines and exhibited in several cities worldwide. He has travelled extensively across India, Taiwan and Japan. In his art, Joel investigates the impact of perception, memories and recollections on the human experience. Joel enjoys working on long-term photo projects, publishing zines, and making music.
