Manisha is a painter, photographer and an occasional writer. She held her solo of paintings at Sanat Gallery in Karachi in 2015 and exhibited her works at a solo exhibit at the Gallery Espace booth at the 2018 Art Fair. Manisha has curated the show of her 'Guru', A Ramachandran, for Vadehra Gallery In November 2018. She has also worked on a photography project 'Artists through the Lens‘ for the last 16 years. The project focus on photographing Indian and Pakistani artists in their studios and creative spaces. Based on her extensive photography project, she writes a regular photo essay column ' Fly on the Wall' in the leading Indian art quarterly 'Take on Art'. The ongoing, archival project 'Artists through the Lens' has been shown by the Devi Foundation in 2012 at the India Art Fair and was shown by the Kiran Nader Museum at the Kochi Biennale in 2014. 'Postcards from Home', an art project on India's partition was born out of her ongoing project, 'Artists through the Lens’. It was shown at the inaugural Lahore Biennale in March 2017 and at the Kochi Biennale 2018 by the Kiran Nader Museum. Manisha lives and works in Gurgaon.
