"Nature is so fleeting, always changing and transforming colors, forms and shapes”, says artist Sruthi. Her paintings and studies are mainly related to nature, specifically fungus, lichens and algae. Its forms are now the main inspiration of her paintings.
Sruthi has always tried to show the picture of small beautiful things in her composition. Most of her paintings are the surroundings of her habitat.
“One space gives a chance to making another space.” She is interested in watching nature progress and tries to portray the changing nature onto a canvas. She takes keen interest in preparing a background of her canvas and enjoys every moment of it; its experimentation and its progress. Her works are mainly botanical representations, collected things and some emotions. Objects such as dead leaves and insects are artistically conveyed through her paintings.
