Dhurve’s distinctive style is to use a tinge of colour on predominantly black and white images. Birds of different species are his favourite theme, and the sky is always filled with birds, in his art. This inspiration has its roots in his childhood, where from a very young age birds were his favourite companion, and he could easily identify different species of bird. In many images, he shows flocks of birds heading back home. bDhurve has participated in many art camps, demonstrations, and exhibitions across Inida. One of his most distinctive achievements is a 35 paintings solo show at the prestigious Bharat Bhavan at Bhopal. He is the only artist after Jangarh Singh Shyam, to have accomplished this feat.
